black then white are all I see in my infancy.
red and yellow then came to be, reaching out to me.
lets me see.
As below, so above and beyond, I imagine
drawn beyond the lines of reason.
Push the envelope. Watch it bend.
Over thinking, over analyzing separates the body from the mind.
Withering my intuition, missing opportunities and I must

Tool’s “Laterus” is a lyrical sequence, a song written in the first person about the narrators journey through life from the very beginning, in infancy, throughout the progression of his life. A lyric tells a story and displays emotions similar in style to the poem “The Wife’s Lament” in which the writer tells a story about being emotionally torn because she’s been separated from her lover and how powerful her feelings of sadness plague her everyday.
reminding you all that I am a “returning” student so this computer stuff is really not my forte. However, I had to blog this accomplishment….I had to manually configure settings to add UDel to my network settings so I could use my laptop on campus and not just in my bedroom, a rather tedious task to one who can email, google and facebook, but thats about all, lol, and I was able to do the steps successfully on the first try and I’m so stoked..Big moment for me because I’m about the same age as a lot of my classmates mothers and even though my kids call me the “cool” parent, I can now feel proud to be the “smart” parent too.
